Hi all,

Original message:
Did somebody force you to read those messages?

No, but I kept seeing the same subj line, and I got curious. So, I started reading. I was, if truth be known, drawn in but the fact that you, Evan, were posting, intrigued me. You're usually one of our cogent, Short-and-sweet posters and you usually post with a good reason in mind. . I couldn't figure out why everyone was so hot and bothered when a simple email to Carrie, or to the submitter of whatever book it was in order to find out why there'd been an extension would have saved all the band width. Far as I knew, there was a two week limit on holds, and unless somebody had contacted Carrie personally for an extension, that was that. In other words stuff on there that was on there longer than two weeks was there deliberately. Couldn't see the problem. Guess some people see problems where there arenone.
