Cindy, No, the keyboard only has the one key which is sometimes used for one character, and sometimes another, depending on which software you're running when you press it. Since you are validating in Word, you can probably turn off Smart Quotes somewhere in the options to prevent Word from trying to decide which of the other characters to use and substituting it for the generic single quote which Pratik is referring to. That's only a guess, though, since you are running Word on a Mac. Keep in mind that it could be called something else in the options. Seems like it is in the 2003 version of Word that I'm running. That's what Sarah called the option back when she explained which to turn off for someone on the list, though.
