Hi Larry, Lori, and the rest of the volunteer community,
Unfortunately, the issues with the Approval Queue are still persisting. I know
that the delays in this fix are extremely frustrating to all here waiting for
their books to be added to the library. I share in the frustration of the
length of this delay and the roadblocks this is causing. I do appreciate your
feedback on this problem and have forwarded some comments to the team, in hopes
of continuing to impress upon them the severity and priority of this issue.
We have had many conversations about workarounds that could possibly move books
forward, but have been unable to find a solution that works and is sustainable
while the Queue is being fixed. I sincerely wish that I had more of an update
for you at this time.
Once again, I assure you that the Approval Queue team is continuing to process
all volunteer books submitted. I appreciate everyone's patience during this
time. I will also continue to shout out the Approval Queue team. These issues
have increased their workload and they have done an incredible job staying as
up-to-date as possible, so that things can return to normal as quickly as
possible once the queue issue is fixed.

Larry, I agree with you, and at the very least volunteers need to receive an
update on the progress of the resolution of this problem.

I'm getting extremely frustrated with this problem. It has been months now
since we've been able to get books approved. I was a programmer for 16 years.
If I'd been assigned to a project to fix a problem like this and it had taken
this long, I'd have been fired.
