Dear Chris,
I have only recently joined but have been looking forward to reading what comes
my way and putting in my two cents when moved to do so. The name is just right
I feel. And Dan, I feel as you do that it is nice from her in the US to be in
contact with the larger, international FC community.
A propos getting people to come to workshops here- Diane, my feeling is that
those who hang in there and carry on with their work with the work will see
participation grow eventually. It is slow growing here, especially if you have
the perspective of the hectic snowball effect in Germany. (Which was preceded
by many years of the work being a Geheimtip, a kind of insider'sf tip). Dan, I
think simply that some people start out with larger client bases to begin with
from other healing practises, so they grow an FC practise faster that way. I
hope you continue following your heart and I wish you well in your work, I feel
how much you care about it and I think that is great.
Joseph, I feel the same as you that the 'field' around this work in the States
is not unifed- and it occurs to me that that ABSOLUTELY CONCURS, for better or
worse, with the actual political and cultural situation!!! (Germany for that
matter is not unifed on the matter- for one, there are great rifts there about
who should or should not being doing the work.) And thank Sheila for her
website again- it's great to have a national events listing like that, she does
everyone a fine service.
Keeping with balance in giving an taking- do you Chris, who organises this
whole thing, get enough back to keep it worth your while? If not, is there any
way you any of us can pick up slack for you?

I am just testing to see if this mailing group still works.
I was wondering if it would be helpful if I changed the name of the group to
something shorter.
Maybe bulletin boards on the website where people could add there
contributions to discussions on set discussions, would be a better option. New
discussions can be added at any time , but old discussions remain amenable. All
the relevant entries then stay together and accessible in one place. The
downside is you don't get an email to tell you when there is something new. So
I am just canvassing for interest in this option.
the final option is of course that this type of communication via the
internet no longer interests people. In that case we can simply shut down the
group. It may become relevant again at a later date
