New discussions can be added at any time , but old discussions remain amenable. All the relevant entries then stay together and accessible in one place. The downside is you don't get an email to tell you when there is something new. So I am just canvassing for interest in this option.
the final option is of course that this type of communication via the internet no longer interests people. In that case we can simply shut down the group. It may become relevant again at a later date
