Never for a moment did I suggest that delusional or faith based experiences are
not legitimate, or that these experience are not deserving of kindness,
patience and acceptance. So it is interesting to investigate why we respond
defensively when the invitation is merely to explore what actual emotions are
driving belief based attachment to ideas and explanations. Assertions that do
not allow the possibility that they can be shown to be false could be a
possible definition for pseudoscience. The tendency to hold comforting beliefs,
(religion) and the tendency to overgeneralise have been proposed as reasons for
pseudoscientific thinking.Â

Hi Monika,
The term ââ¬Åpseudoscienceââ¬ï¿½ doesnââ¬â¢t have any objective
meaning, does it? It
can mean anything that someone wants to dismiss or disregard. Sorcery,
supernatural, and paranormal are all words that can describe legitimate
experiences, including experiences that Iââ¬â¢ve personally had or been
present
to in constellations.
Maybe Iââ¬â¢m misunderstanding your question?
