I saw the original post to this thread yesterday and I for one was
expecting way more "reactivity" to it :) If I may add my two cents:
Monika, you speak of emotional reactions, but the vocabulary you used in
your own posts yesterday suggest that you are rather "reactive" to what you
refer to as pseudoscience... I'm really curious how you can reconcile being
a facilitator of a modality that so far hasn't found a scientific
explanation with your opinion that some "paranormal" experiences are
"delusional".... Honestly, I find it baffling.
I've seen with my own eyes and touched with my own hands things that
shouldn't be possible according to what we know of matter scientifically
(though if you go into quantum fields that might be different). I didn't go
looking for them, nor do I "cling" to them, they are just here, as much
real and present and magic as the trees in my garden. Do I have a problem
with you not having experienced them and therefore not believing in them?
Absolutely not. But if you start calling me "delusional", you might
understand that the one having the reaction here is not me.
It seems to me that as facilitators, we are to drop opinions and judgement
about how people perceive reality. I'm not even talking about paranormal
here, but if someone comes to us "clinging" to a myth about his family
system, I should hope that we'll be able to treat that person with more
respect and love than to be condescending towards "the error of their
way". I remember a specific constellation where the dismissal by the
facilitator of the shamanic nature of the constellation was very damaging
for the client, who felt ignored and disrespected.
Anyway. There are many shamanic practitioners on this thread, as well as
practitioners of "pseudoscience" modalities, so it's only natural that your
first post should get some pushback. In general, no one likes to see their
reality dismissed as fantasy (and that also goes for those who believe in a
world of reason, logic and hard science). I think one of the misconceptions
that appears through both your original posts is that the people who have
those experiences go "looking for them"... In reality, they are just there.
Now do some people use the spiritual and esoteric realms to escape
matter/presence as a human being, and "cling" to them to avoid suffering ?
Absolutely. But that still doesn't mean these realms don't exist :)
The truth is : we don't know. There is no way we, as human beings, could
even begin to comprehend the complexity and multidimensionality of the
universe. Now that doesn't stop us from catching glimpses of it, and if my
glimpse is different than yours, it doesn't invalidate either of them.
Isn't constellation the very modality that replaces "or" by "and"?

closer exploration. We all seem to agree that constellation is a powerful
and potentially deeply healing intervention. The issue we are discussing
here is not about the value of constellation as such, but the various
explanations and beliefs associated with the constellation modality. Dear
Poppy, you are talking about magic, can you think of one single thing that
is not magic? Isn't there value in exploring our urge to look for double
magic? Supernatural? Isn't the natural already fully astounding?
