Winy,

I don't know any specific information on accessing the RXP dialog. It sounds
like you're trying to fly before you can walk.

Have you read the 4 chapters on MIDI hardware and software? That's very
basic training for understanding MIDI.

If you do have a hardware synth connected to your computer it's a lot easier
to work with to learn MIDI from the start.

Otherwise, start experimenting with the Cakewalk TTS synths to learn how to
properly insert them onto your tracks.

Again the tutorial is very step-by-step on how to insert a synth.

There are other documents included with your installation that talk
specifically on accessing the dialogs of the various effects and synths. You
may find help there, as well.

Hi,
I read the tutorial from Cake Talking, especially about "Supporting
Softsynths". Honestly, I am totally new in this MIDI world, so there're
still a lot of things that I don't understand.
Would you tell me how to access RXP dialogue, or any dialogue regarding to
the softsynths? I read that Cake Talking talked much about it--that we have
to be able to access the dialogue first before doing anything else. Would
you tell me how? What I have to do next after opening a project with MIDI
tracks?
Any help will be highly apreciated. Thanks a lot.
Winy.
