Justin, there's info on how to create SFZ files here:

http://www.cakewalk.com/devxchange/sfz.asp

There are also some example SFZ files in .rar format. You can unpack the
.rar format with Winrar which, is available from:

http://www.rarlab.com/

Also, once you have created an SFZ file for a component in a drum kit E.G.,
a kick drum then, you would create another SFZ for the snare etc then, load
that into the pad for the snare in Session Drummer. Finally, once you have
all of the SFZ files load up for kick, snare toms, cymbals etc then, you can
save out the entire creation as a .kit file. You don't edit or modify .kit
files at all.

Phil, that's great. Is there anywhere I can go to read up on how to
properly create this SFZ text file?
I've gone through the session drummer samples and see how they are laid
out with each velocity being its own WAV file, but can seem to dig into the
.kit file to see how the particular kits are put together. I have a lot of
samples I'd really like to import into Session Drummer, but it would be
useless if I couldn't load the samples with their other velocity layers
included.
