Thanks. I really did not know that. But pressing space does not always throw me 
to the beginning. That's why I wanna use ctrl+space 
to mark where to stop so that then space gets me to the place I last time 
pressed ctrl+space.

Again, thanks alot to everyone. Now my system works correctly.

Hey Jo!

If you go in to options, then global, in the general tab, cursor down about
15 times 'til you hear the following, "on stop, rewind to now marker check
box not checked?".
Press the space bar to check that box, and then press enter.

Now, when you press the space bar whilst your project is playing it will
stop the playback at the quote now quote time, instead of returning to the
beginning.
