Hmm, use Skype here all the time when working in Sonar and don't experience any problems. Mind you, Skype doesn't cut across use of the control key etc.

Further more, I don't if any of you have noticed, but in Sonar 8, you loose the ability to raise and lower the volume from your keyboard. I was able to do this in version 7, and can't since I upgrade to version 8. Its not a Ct script pproblem, its simply that due to the way Sonar handle your audio may have something to contribute. I suspect that live messenger makes use of all of this, and this is why you can't use programs like live messenger at the same time as operating Sonar. In fact it is heavily suggested that you not use anything to do with internet basses. in otherwords, it is suggested that you do not have your system hooked to the internet at all, and this does include sited users too, its not due to Jaws. However, I still remain connected to the internet, I just don't connect to programs like skype, or email.----- Original Message ----- From: "Jörgen Hansson" <hansson.jogge@xxxxxxxx>

Hi johanna!I know exactly what that problem is, I have the same problem when running windows live messenger. so one thing I can say is, when you're working in sonar, don't use windows live messenger if you're working on any project at all, if you want to chat with someone, skype is a better alyternative then I only use skype when I'm working in sonar. so try just to not use windows live messenger. while working in sonar.Regards Jörgen Hansson! It really seems there are bunch of cool new things to learn... But I have one very serious problem. I don't know why, but CTRL key does not work properly in Sonar. Changing keyboard layout to English does not help, I can't find anything I could change... but for example if I try to press ctrl+space for stopping my project, Jaws says "Play" and it just continues to play. Any ideas what I could do?Johanna PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
