Yep! I was aware of that, I dunno why she doesn't check that little box in options/global instead?
Then one press of the space bar will stop the project at the quote now quote position, instead of having to press 2 keys at once?
I mean, if you want your project to always return to 0 when you press the space bar, its just as quick to press W, Why make life more of a hassle?

That keyboard shortcut enables the user to stop a project in Sonar at a specific point.Regards, Phil Muir P J Muir Productions, Music And Audio Production Telephone: US (615) 713-2021 UK+44-1747-821-794 Mobile: UK +44-7968-136-246 E-mail: info@xxxxxxxxxxxx URL: www.philmuir.com/----- Original Message ----- From: "Mike Christer" <m-christer@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, February 03, 2009 12:32 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Sonar 8, laptop and CTRL keyWhy do you press ctrl + space to stop your project?----- Original Message ----- From: "Johanna Sarkinen" <johanna@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, February 03, 2009 11:17 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Sonar 8, laptop and CTRL keyHi all,So yes, I upgraded my system to Sonar 8 and now I'm happily trying to find out how the new system works. It really seems there are bunch of cool new things to learn... But I have one very serious problem. I don't know why, but CTRL key does not work properly in Sonar. Changing keyboard layout to English does not help, I can't find anything I could change... but for example if I try to press ctrl+space for stopping my project, Jaws says "Play" and it just continues to play. Any ideas what I could do?Johanna PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
