I have never stretched audio clips before. How does it sound after
stretching is done? Does the clip still maintain its natural sound? Is there
a feature in the clips menu that allows for stretching audio clips or would
something like that be done with V vocal?

Hi Nevile, in Chris's case, stretching would be the way to do it properly.
As you pointed out, if you split and move, there will be a gap, unless you
stretch the audio.

Question, If a certain area of a clip is moved, wouldn't there be a gap? Do
you mean stretching the clip or moving it?

Yup; makes sense. Just select that area, then split the clip like I said so
you can work with just that clip. You should be able to move it forward in
time, etc. Hope I'm clear enough. I do this a lot when I'm working with
speech and other audio formats where I want to slow down or speed up certain
areas without effecting the rest of the audio. Sometimes I have to adjust
things afterward so it's seamless, but I think your example is just a matter
of moving that one area alone so it does what you want.
