Agreed. I've done some stretching; but man you have to take care to make sure it still sounds natural. I don't have any plugs for doing that; but I've managed to figure out how to get the most out of the algorithms in Sonar. Guess some of those plugs are pretty pricey; and there's that accessibility issue too. If you can get at them through the Inspector, you're golden.

Hi Mike, while what you are describing does work, in this case stretching works better, because he needs the track to stay at the time it's at. In other words, he needs to stretch the sound back a little so it starts with the other instruments, but needs to keep the rest where it is. While shifting in the manner you describe does work for speech and perhapsdrums, since the guitar has a constant sound, if he splits and moves it, hewill get a gap in the sound later on, which is not desireable. For this reason, stretching that bit of sound is the better solution.HTH, D!J!X!
