Hi Mike. The rest of the guitar part is in time, it's the start of the particular part that is a little late. Does that make sense?
I need to highlight a bit of the clip, the beginning of the guitar part, and stretch it left, forward in time.

Hey Chris,If you're just wanting to move a clip in time, and you wanna do it without going through the clips pane, I think the easiest way to do it right from the track pane is to select the area in question; then split the clip. Control-/ is the shortcut key - you probably know that already. Make sure that you're splitting it via the selection and not by measures. Then just re-select it, and you should be able to nudge and/or do whatever processing you want on just that clip. You might have to check to make sure that it integrates the way you want it with the rest of the track. Don't forget to select the whole track and bounce your clips back to one single audio clip when you're finished; else you might get some unpredictable results from further processing you might be doing afterwards. I found that out the hard way on a project I was doing a while back.Hope this helps. Can you help with a little problem I'm having here? Take a listen to this short clip: https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/mo46kkJust after it fades up, a new guitar part enters quite a bit too late. I'm used to nudging whole things around so they line up better, but what I need to do here is stretch the leading edge of that clip so it comes in a bit earlier, on time. But I need the rest of the clip to remain where it is.What's the easiest way to do that? I don't have a tempo map established so I can't just quantize. Thanks for any suggestions Chris PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
