Yes, accept that the Roland would only need to come out of the interface
and into the Roland. You would not need a line going from the output of
the Roland to the in of the interface because the Roland is not a
keyboard. The Roland is receiving MIDI data, not sending it.

Thanks Kevin. So is the following setup correct then? I would use a midi
interface that has two sets of midi ins and outs, (a midiman 2x for
example.) The fantom would run through one set of ins and outs, while
the
module would run through the other set?
