If you're going to use it with CT, I remember Bryan mentioning that ct was written with jaws11 in mind, meaning it works well under it. I'd at least install 11 to have jaws and CT work together on that front. The latest is *not* always the greatest! Specially when it comes to jaws scripting, if they change a system function all rutine and your script depends on it, your whole script might be altered by the change made to that. Don't think the 2 last versions have been so dramatic in that, not like jaws8-10 were.
