What video/graphics card do you have on that system? It doesn't matter much thanks to mirror display drivers (what windows 7 uses as oppose to video intercept), but it still does matter. As you know I build custom computer systems and such, and during testing I've seen some weird things happen with stuff, which is no longer as black and white as ATI/AMD versus NVIDIA. Now one card from one manufactuer or one chipset will be as bad as the other! This won't help with jaws issues of its own, but it might make your life easier to know why certain random things are read on screen, why jaws doesn't automatically read other text, why jaws cursor acts weird on certain screens etc. Speaking of this, if you're using jaws11, and using this as a regular system with IE9, you'll need jaws 12 or 13, cuz jaws11's jaws cursor doesn't work on the new IE; microsoft made some changes to the UI of IE9 which until late jaws 12 didn't let jaws cursor work. Even in jaws12 and 13 it's buggy IMO. Also, sometimes jaws 13 behaves strangerly on some edit fields, not related to any specific site.... If using firefox you're prob safe. For use with CT, be sure to switch to the windows classic theme; if using many of the available hotspots, you'll prob still need to do the screen resolution change.
