Hmm. Okay. Their new audio interface has 2 tube channels, which is why i'm
considering buying it. the only thing holding me back is the concern that the
software control pannel of the card may not be accessible? Any thoughts?

There is no software, is a rack of preamps that connect to the FW1884 giving
you 16 A to D converters.

No, can't say that I have. Ya-know, its to bad your not using the FW1884
and an ADAPT interface. Phil, Herman, myself and many others are having great

I have the presonus 96K 8 channel preamp connected to my FW1884 using
ADAT , and it's dead quiet!. I did one of HF's songs using the
presonus and it's all class A circuitry..
