Hi there have you considered the Motu pre8, or Motu 828mk3, they are fantastic
interfaces, I use to own the presonus firepod, and thaught it was a fantastic
card too, but I somehow had issues with pop's and clicks on all my systems, and
no mattter what I did to resolve the issue, there was no getting around to
solve my pop, and click issue, and I hav been using motu products ever since,
and things couldn't be smoother in my studio.

I have the presonus 96K 8 channel preamp connected to my FW1884 using ADAT
, and it's dead quiet!. I did one of HF's songs using the
presonus and it's all class A circuitry..
