in actual fact I tried the card on two IBm's 1 clone with different parts, and
two of my dell units, and got nothing but frustration with the presonus stuff.
Every one of my clients complained to me as they were doing their sessions, and
I had simply explain that it was the card doing this. In fact one of my
clients actually walked out of my studio, and thats when I decided that enough
was enough, and went motu. However, I have heard of folks who use the presonus
cards with out any problems. Just make sure that when you do purchase the card
that you have an exchange policy at the store where you purchase it, in that
you could get something else if the presonus doesn't work for you.-----

Yeah Phil said the same thing earlier about the pops and clicks. It must be
one of those things where it depends on the system I guess. Good to know though.

Hi there have you considered the Motu pre8, or Motu 828mk3, they are
fantastic interfaces, I use to own the presonus firepod, and thaught it was a
fantastic card too, but I somehow had issues with pop's and clicks on all my
systems, and no mattter what I did to resolve the issue, there was no getting
around to solve my pop, and click issue, and I hav been using motu products
ever since, and things couldn't be smoother in my studio.

      Hi Sean,

Have you read anything on their new card, the FireStudio Tube?

      Thanks.

            Hey Omar,

I have the presonus 96K 8 channel preamp connected to my FW1884 using
ADAT , and it's dead quiet!. I did one of HF's songs using the
presonus and it's all class A circuitry..

Don't know about the software but, have heard that some of their
interfaces crackel in Sonar.

              Hello,

Has anyone on here used any audio interfaces by Presonus? I'm
looking to possibly purchase one of their higher end audio interfaces, and I
was wondering if their software is accessible with jaws.

              Thanks.
