I love my motu, that should be our slogon. I don't know why I didn't purchase
one earlier.
The Card simply all around works fantastic, with out flaws, and glitches.
Since I have had the pre 8 I've been able to work in a studio sessions for ours
with out having to reboot, both in Xp, and Vista. There only draw back is that
you can't get their manuals in pdf form, but if you are going to use Sonar,
then things should be simple enough to operate.

I've a Motu 248o. Happy with it. Easy to use unless I've unhooked things and
forgotten inputs on top outputs on bottom, channel 24 left and 1 rightmost
looking at rear pannel. Their mixer is more than I want to wrestle with, but a
friend in the Tech Access biz came over and wven with tools in JFW v7, made it
considerably more screen reader friendly. So I bet someone with HSC or the
other program could do wonders. (trin) However, I never have to go there as I
can do what I want in Sonar. No sweat!

Just finished moving things around for easier accessability in mic room of
studio, must touch up tuning of left bass drums, place mics and set levels,
then, I'll start my demo recordings of the two sets and some stuff I do in
practice routines for my contribution to the mag...

Hi there have you considered the Motu pre8, or Motu 828mk3, they are
fantastic interfaces, I use to own the presonus firepod, and thaught it was a
fantastic card too, but I somehow had issues with pop's and clicks on all my
systems, and no mattter what I did to resolve the issue, there was no getting
around to solve my pop, and click issue, and I hav been using motu products
ever since, and things couldn't be smoother in my studio.

  Hi Sean,

Have you read anything on their new card, the FireStudio Tube?

  Thanks.

  Hello,

Has anyone on here used any audio interfaces by Presonus? I'm looking to
possibly purchase one of their higher end audio interfaces, and I was wondering
if their software is accessible with jaws.

  Thanks.
