It's funny, I woke up this morning with a similar question and I'm trying to do the same thing but not as heavy. I heard some of your explanations of Band in a Box before Chris but still wasn't sure if how it would work. I've been putting together tracks with sonar and it's taking to much time. I think I'm going out this weekend and buying B in a box and start work with it.
Thanks to both of you Damiond and Chris. Tom Tom DeRosa URL www.myspace.com/tder08----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Smart" <chris_s@xxxxxxxxxxxx>

How would it help me?It generates, automatically, bass, drums, piano, guitar and strings, or a similar grouping of instruments depending on the style of music.1. Type in chords to song. 2. Pick a style like rock, jazz, country etc. 3. Press play and your backing track is generated. Now, to get really professional results, you'll want to save that as a midi file and load it into your sequencer of choice for fine tuning. But a lot of the building blocks will be there already, automatically generated by Band-in-a-Box.Chris PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
