Hi Steve, Do you know if your sequencer is set up to be either the master or the slave device? You can't get very far if you don't know the answer to this question, but I should be able to help further if you can let me know the answer. Best wishes. I just want to put some tracks from my hardware sequencer on to Sonar. Mike Christer advice wisely to look in Options menu, as there's info about midi but I couldn't find midi sync or MTC. I'm not able to access the help files as when I press enter on a topic nothing happens. I think the help files need me to have internet access which I haven't got in my little studio room. I tried a external floppy drive (as that seemed like a good idea from Omar) but unfortunately sonar isn't even recognising that the discs are even formatted. If I could only find the midi Sync, midi time clock page, I may be able to put these sequencer tracks on to the sonar. Please! can anyone help.
