Steve,

I think having Sonar as the master is probably your best bet. There's good
stuff in the Help system. Here's a sequence of actions to perform in
Sonar's Help to get you to the topics you need:

1 - Open Sonar Help;

2 - Press S until you get to "Synchronising Your Gear", then press the right
arrow to expand it;

3 - Arrow down and you'll get "synchronisation Overview", so press Enter on
it, followed by F6 and you'll be able to read the topic;

4 - Press Alt+C to get back to the table of contents;

5 - Press the down arrow to get to the next topic - there's quite a few in
this section of the Help and they're all worth a read if you're going to get
a handle on this and there's quite a few step-by-step examples.

Let me know how you get on and if I can help clarify anything you don't
understand.

Best wishes.

Hi Tim,

I can access Sync Mode, MIDI Time Clock and the control midi in, on the
Sequencer.
I've set up all the necessary MIDI Channels in Sonar and when I pressed play

on the sequencer all the MIDI Channels and corresponding sounds perform
perfectly.

After I'd check that they all worked, I set the sync mode and control midi
in on the sequencer and hit record on the sonar, but nothing happened.

Maybe it would be easier if Sonar was the Slave? Tim, which would you
advise.
