I've come to realize that I almost never have any control over what I get from co-workers; therefore, almost all my work is in unstable document environments, where spacebars are still employed to line up text and the enter key used for going to the next page. What strikes me as most ironic about all of this is that these problems muliplied when we started receiving electronic documents. When I ran actual print material through a scanner (and sometimes I still do), there were problems sure. However, they seemed to be more predictable and more easily solved or am I just being nostalgic?
