Chelsea:
I have a Juliet Pro 60 that I have had for three years now. I have not had
any problems with it; with the exception of having to go through the
computer to shut down a print job. I have not had to send it out for any
repairs as of yet; however, I would get a warranty and continue to purchase
it each year ($505.00 for yearly renewal). This will help alleviate any
repair charges that may be lurking in the woodwork. Anyway, since this is my
very first embosser, cannot comment on any others. Success to you and your
search.
Jerry

Our braille department purchased 3 Juliet Classics. Within 2 years, 2 of
them broke down at the same time! It was very expensive to fix them. The
parts for one cost $32.93. The labor was $720.67! For the other one, the
parts cost $13.58. The labor was 570.00! One of those that was fixed is
starting to do shadow dots again. It took from March 2016 until August 2016
to get them back. Luckily we had our 25 year old VersaPoints and were able
to use them in the meantime. Unfortunately, our computers can't hook up the
Versapoints any longer.

Hi all! There are a couple of embossers that I am considering purchasing, I
just haven't made a decision yet. One is the Juliet 120, the second is the
index basic D version five, and the third is the Columbia from view plus.
Have any of you used any of these embossers? They all sound good, and they
all seem to have good qualities. How are they regarding durability? What
about set up an excess ability? Thanks in advance, Chelsea
