Hi all.

My employer has asked me to help in the transcription of some scriptures
from print to Braille. The only aspect of the project that seems difficult
is the creation of the guide reference on the bottom of each right-hand
page. I know how to create a footer, but is there any way to create one
that will change based on what is in the page?

What I need is pretty involved. First, if all the verses on the two facing
pages are from the same chapter, then I need something like:
"Matt 14:7-18"
However, if the chapter changes, then it might look like:
"Mark 6:21-25; 7:1-3"

I am nearly certain that there is no code or combination of codes that will
let me do this, but just thought I'd ask.

What would be nice is if Duxbury could give us a small scripting language.
For instance, just give us some simple variables, if else constructions,
while loops, and customizable events that would be thrown when, for
instance, you started a new page, when a line ran over, ETC. Nothing too
fancy; a little bit would go a long way. That would seem to be more
flexible than just providing a specific solution for everyone's unique
needs.

I assume that there is not at present a way to create a custom code in
Duxbury?

Anyway, getting back to my initial problem, do any of you folks have
suggestions on how I might make this process easier on myself, assuming I do
have to do it manually?

Thanks.

Aaron
