Ann,No argument that the bell is good for orientation. And, as George reminded me, if you're trying to do some "down and dirty" braille in a hurry, it can be a tremendous help. I'm still not sure I'd want to see that feature in Word, but I'm sure someone would find it useful.

Oh yes, I'm very aware of the problems caused by hard returns and hard spaces. I am thinking more in terms of just being oriented on the page.
