Hello All:

Here's one for you. I am trying to help a client that needs a way to
translate books formatted in Braille files, like .brf or .dxb, into text
files that she can listen to on her computer. She has a Braille Note
that does not work at all and that she cannot afford to get upgraded.

Someone suggested I try opening Braille files in Open Book. So, before
talking with my client I decided I'd experiment with doing just that.
When I went into Open Book, then selected a Braille file in DXB format
to open and pressed enter on it, the file did not open. Instead, it was
printed to my default printer, wasting a lot of paper.

Does anyone know if you can open .brf or .dxb files using Open Book and
if so, any special ways to do it? I would especially be interested if
one can open these files in Open Book if you don't have Duxbury as my
client does not.

Thanks,
