Re: the issue of back translating braille formatted files Some braille formatted files are legally covered by restrictions on their use. Often back translating the files is a violation of these restrictions. While we gaily give suggestions as to how to re-utilize files based on a shift in user technology, let us at least make a statement that all such activity must follow all applicable restrictions that
might be placed on the data.Otherwise, discussions of this sort make use look like a den of thieves to those who hold copyrights. There are many people on this list who make their living because people respect copyrights.
