Hi Susie,

I've just done some research.

You are going to hate me for this, but DBT is actually doing what it
should, and following BANA rules to the letter. I quote:-

"Page numbers in tables of contents.

(1) Only print page numbers that are listed in the print table of
contents must be given in the braille table of contents."

For full details, see Braille Formats: Principles of Print to Braille
Transcription 1997 http://www.brl.org/formats/ Rule 2. Section 7.

The answer is to use Custom as opposed to BANA when generating a TOC,
and Specify Braille Page Numbers.

(Actually, in 10.5 a warning is generated if you do not have print page
indicators in your text document)

Sorry, but at least you know that YOU are NOT the missing link.

George Bell.

Caroline, Deb and all,

it's still not working the way it should be. I want Heading 1 for the
names of the sections, not heading 2. I have coded all the headings by
applying the h1 style, not by manually coding. I chose custom in the
dialog and specified the rest of it. I still just get the Contents
heading and the column heading, but no TOC. There has got to be a
missing link--perhaps I am it!
