Hello Vence.

I'll throw in a guess about the problem of hearing only parts of some words.
Perhaps the DBT window is not maximized. To see if that's the problem, in DBT,
press Alt+Space to bring up the Control menu. If the Restore option is marked
as unavailable, then the window is not maximized. If so, press X from this
Control menu to maximize the DBT window.

Sincerely,
Caryn

Hi George I have two questions. I am still having the problem of dux reading
partial words halfway through sentences even though the whole word is there.
I upgraded to 10.6 and the problem still exists and another comes up for my
situation at the school here in Ga. I can't clean up word files or create new
dxp or dxb files in 10.6 and open them in earlier versions past 10.5. I have to
use the earlier versions to emboss from because we don't have enough licenses
to install 10.6 on the system which is connected to the romeo in a work room
used by many other teachers. I have a stand alone copy of 10.6 on my laptop and
can again clean and create files but cannot emboss because I get error messages
saying somthing to the effect of needing a converter.
Can you or anyone else help at all with this issue.
