Diane,

For the Word BANA template to work correctly, you MUST
use English (American Textbook DE) BANA template. That
is the ONLY DBT template that will work correctly with
the Word BANA template.

Subject: [duxuser] oulines from Word to Dux

I hope someone can help me see what I'm doing wrong. I have an outline
in Word with about 4 levels. I'm using the BANA template. I've tried
the Numbered indent style (1-5, 3-7, 5-9, etc.). I've tried the
Stairstep (Level 1, 2, 3, etc.). I tried Exercise (1, 2, 3, etc.).
None of them carries over to Duxbury. Everything is at the left
margin, and when I reveal the codes there's nothing there, just [l] at
the end of each line. (I've tried opening the document as both
literary and textbook--no difference.)
I'm using Duxbury 10.6 and Word 2000.
What am I not realizing?
Thanks.
