Hi all,
I know several people who might soon be doing work which would involve
proofreading materials which have been scanned, and subsequently sending
them to Duxbury for translation into braille. I'm wondering what advice I
can give them about this process. Should they edit these documents, i.e.
make corrections, after the initial scanning process? Or is it better to
do this in a program such as Microsoft Word? And, does Duxbury offer a
spellchecker or any other features which are contained in MS Word? Any
other suggestions would help at this point, such as which scanning
software, i.e. Openbook or Kurzweil. is best for this type of operation.
Thanks, Scott mailto:scottsjb@xxxxxxxxx
