Ok, changed to point to .mp3.

Ah you've pointed the main feed at it... that'll be fine in fact it'll
simplify things come switchover as one less thing to change.
However you'll want to use 'stream.mp3' rather than the aac one. They
both point at the same (mp3) stream at the moment which is why it
works but when we go live it won't.

Jon,
I have changed the our web player to point to the new url and it seems
to be working. I presume that whilst it has a suffix .aac, it is in fact
.mp3? There are descriptors in the player to say what type the stream is
and I have left them as mp3. It seems to work fine, at least on my laptop.

I've been pondering how we address this TuneIn problem and
have come up with an alternative solution. If you can contact
them and give them the following URL as our stream:
http://www.oasw.co.uk/hrock/stream.aac Basically this
generates a HTTP 302 temporary redirection to our actual
stream (in the current instance the "placeholder" one). Much
like the .pls solution, we can then change the redirection as
required and it should be honoured. Frontier still haven't
added us so I've sent them another request. In article

Hi Sarah, Tunein and Streema are the two apps. I sent the
info to a third, vTuner but we are not there, I have just
checked. I did not have any luck with them last them
either. The only portal that I know is working so far is
Reciva, who supply the chips to earlier Roberts internet
radios and others. I know this is up. Jon has requested to
Frontier Silicon, who supply the chips to current Roberts
internet radios and others but as far as I know, nothing
has happened there. I have also sent a request to Pure but
do not know the status of this either. If anyone has a
later Roberts or Pure radio, perhaps they can check? The
trouble is, you often have to log in with the serial
number of your set or search on the set itself. I do not
have either so cannot check. Both of these are big players
in the UK so I think are probably the most important for
us. If anyone has a different provider, then they can
normally request a station be added and for them, this
would be the best solution. We cannot cater for all the
different makes and permutations so I have concentrated on
just the main players. Simon. On 20/04/18 07:34,
