Just the opposite for me Trish. It does it while I am working on my Mac.
I’d have to set it for never, I guess.
The two systems dialogue are what you’ll find in your notification area in your
extras. Even those I have to close to get back to what I am doing. Before, I
could just ignore them until I was ready to deal with them.

No I meant when I am not doing anything on my mac, that message pops up says
what you hear and sometimes even says, 2 system dialogue or something long
those lines,I do also hear it say, screen saver.
this only occurs if I am not doning anything on mac.
depending on the time you have it set for is when it will do this if your not
working on your mac.
You can change it to never do it at all if you wish.

Mine is not idle when I hear it. It happens while I’m typing or reading
something so it can’t be a screen saver, can it? It interferes with my
reading and I have to restart the reading from where I was. I also have
notifications interferring with my reading as well. I’m sure I can go in and
set them to just show up and disappear without my having to close them, which
I have to do now before I can continue what I was doing.
So many things interfering with using the computer that stop everything. Not
used to that at all.

Ok, not sure which to do. Shawn said to extend time in Energy Saver but you
say it is in screen saver. So now I don’t know what to do. I don’t have to
log in, it just pops up, stops everything from talking but goes away when I
start reading again. It’s very annoying.

Ok that makes sense, so do I extend the time under the battery tab or the
power adaptor tab
so this only comes up at that interval?
Thanks

it has to do with our serving and is important when you are working on
battery only. i'm fairly sure it has to do with being a screen saver so
that if you go away from your work somebody cannot view it.

Do you know the purpose of that log in panel coming up? Everything stops
talking when it pops up so in the middle of a long document or
Email…annoying for sure.
Thanks

Yeah it's annoying but there's no way to disable that. A work around is
to go into energy saver in system preferences and set your display to
sleep after 10 or 20 minutes.

Yes it goes away. The thing I don’t like is that it makes all reading
