There’s nothing worse than an App taking over your screen and making other
windows near invisible it seems, I’m Sure Eset Cyber Security – in its default
display configuration – wouldn’t be the only offender out there.

Hi,
thanks Dane for letting us know what the problem was. Often we don’t find out
the cause so when it happens to us we have to ask the question again.
Max.

As it happens Eset Cyber Security was covering up system windows and I found
this out by reconfiguring the Eset Interface, now nothing shows on the screen
at all apart from critical notifications which is exactly what I need, I can
now access system windows using the methods suggested so thanks everyone for
your help.

How can this be done?
Every so often I see a window asking me to enter a secure password for my
backup drive.
When I try to locate the window it disappears so I can’t paste the password in.
Thanks
