I could be wrong but I thought the numbers just appeared above the letters like
a normal keyboard, not the normal IOS phone way because there’s more space. I
could be wrong so add grains of salt as needed but I think the basic line of
numbers appears above the letters.

its at the bottom past all the letters she would find delete,shift,and then
numbers she has to tap on it for numbers to appear on her pad

this,this will display the numbers for her.
This same action has to be done to go back to letters.
