Hi Mike,
is it possible to listen both these speech methods from the Pi internal
connectors - 3.5 mm jack and HDMI?
Actually i don`t have the USB dongle yet, so this way could be quite usefull
till i purchase one.
Or can you write me the command how to quickly change the output from the USB
to the internal soundcard?

Hello Mo.
Yes I think I am going to go with releasing it as using my OMX code to
give console audio via the 3.5mm analogue jack and a USB dongle for
desktop speech.
For Jeffery, I was thinking the same thing, but remember that whether
two males to one female, or two females to one male, it amounts to the
same thing.
If you had a two female to one male then:
1. Plug the single male of the Y connector into the USB dongle's output
socket.
2. Plug a 3.5mm to 3.5mm male-to-male lead in the analogue jack on the
Pi and the other end in one of the female sockets on the Y adaptor.
3. Plug your speaker or headphones into the other female socket of the
Y adaptor.
Result, both audio sources into one, and a desk that looks like a plate
of spaghetti. But the job is done.

Hi Mike.
I'd certainly go with the solution to have speech via the different
jacks. It really does sound like an excellent image and it kills 2 birds
with 1 stone and keeps people happy.
cheers,
Mo.

Well, the obvious solution to console and desktop speech being
outputted to different jacks, assuming most USB Audio dongles have a
3.5mm jack would be to use a 3.5 mm female to dual male y-connector,
but I haven't had any luck finding one listed on amazon(plenty of
3.5mm male to dual female y-connector, and even a 3.5mm female to dual
RCA male, but not the kind we'd need to merge the two audio sources to
a single set of speakers or set of earphones).
