Have you verified that you have working sound before starting Orca? Have you
for instance typed bespeak?hi" or spd-say "hi"? Did you run spd-conf and
configured it to use pulse or libao; Is your volume up and devices unmuted?

software. It would appear that the only accessible way of installing
it is to enable SSH and install remotely using apt though and it
doesn't look like there's an easy way of enabling it for the first
