Hi,
I have not done any of those things. Do I just write what you said in the
terminal via putty? That is how I am accessing the PI4 now through ssh.
Sincerely,

Have you verified that you have working sound before starting Orca? Have you
for instance typed bespeak?hi" or spd-say "hi"? Did you run spd-conf and
configured it to use pulse or libao; Is your volume up and devices unmuted?

Hi,
I updated and upgraded the Raspian OS and installed Orca. Then I restarted
the PI4. Did not get anything out of it.
Does anyone know what I should do next to get it talking? When it started
I tried even pressing super s or alt s and nothing no sound.
Sincerely,
Mike Villafane

Hi
The latest version of Raspbian now offers Orca through recommended
software. It would appear that the only accessible way of installing
it is to enable SSH and install remotely using apt though and it
doesn't look like there's an easy way of enabling it for the first
time. Has anyone given it a go?
