Ah, I just read horror stories of power surges from those wonky "time bomb"
PSUs that fry the RAM. I was thinking of being more safe than sorry. Is it an
over-precaution to invest in a surge device or updated PSU?

Do you really need a new power supply? I recently had issues with my power
supply, turned out it was just a bad connection at the connector. I ripped it
apart and resoldered, now it's working great!

Hi all,
Does anyone know of a Canadian-friendly manufacturer who produces new PSUs for
the C64 or at the very least a "power saver"? I know Ray Carlssn in the States
gets excellent reviews but with the crappy dollar, shipping costs, and customs
fees, I was hoping there was somebody analogous here in the Great White North.
