More than 30 birders, including School teachers' Federal employees, students,
and others who had this Labor Day off, gathered for today's Huntley Meadows
Monday Morning Birdwalk. We tallied 48 species, with highlights such as
gathering groups of Herons, and diminishing populations of swallows,
shorebirds. Hummingbirds, and Common Yellowthroats marking the gradual change
of seasons.
