Here's a fun one. Prairie or Magnolia, and why? My money's on Magnolia! (not
the chickadee, the bird in question is on the left to the rear. 😉)

A hybrid maybe?
Interesting discussions!

I considered Chat too. And yes, the pretty distinct whitish eye-ring had me
confused as well, as did the very bright yellow. But the camera + sunlight can
distort colors and brightness I've found.

Good point. That rules out a Chat.I've looked at lots of photos and
illustrations of Common Yellowthroats, and this bird has more white around the
eye that any of those, but everything else suggests Common Yellowthroat.
Interesting bird.

Chats have dark legs and feet and a much heavier bill. This bird has pinkish
legs and feet.

A very interesting video. The front is very bright yellow and there is a lot
of white going on around the eye extending to the bill. It also appears to be a
fairly robust bird with a long tail. Hard to judge relative size. I think it
is a Yellow-breasted Chat. Jim NelsonBethesda, Maryland

While I agree that this is a Common Yellowthroat, it is actually an immature
male rather than a female based on the black mask that is beginning to come in
on the face.

Carol,
I 2nd Tom's opinion of a female Common Yellow-throat. Regardless, cool set up!
I'd definitely keep an eye on those cameras.

That's the only thing I can figure that comes close. Here's a link to
