Hi Joan Ann,
Command Prompt works well with JAWS. I use it all the time. Go to:
Start > Programs > Accessories
and arrow down to Command Prompt. Press the App Key or Shift+F10 and
select Run as Administrator from the menu. When you're prompted by
User Account Control, press Alt+Y.
The Admin Command Prompt should open. To confirm, press Ins+T and
JAWS should say Administrator: Command Prompt.
Copying and pasting into the Command Prompt is non-standard. Select
and copy the text from the web page. Switch back to the prompt and
press Alt+Space, followed by E for the Edit menu, and then P to paste.
