Also I think if all else fails you should consider uninstalling the printer
drivers and software then reinstall again. Make sure that you have the latest
drivers and software at hand before reinstalling the printer.

Hi Joan Ann,
Command Prompt works well with JAWS. I use it all the time. Go to:
Start > Programs > Accessories
and arrow down to Command Prompt. Press the App Key or Shift+F10 and select
Run as Administrator from the menu. When you're prompted by User Account
Control, press Alt+Y.
The Admin Command Prompt should open. To confirm, press Ins+T and JAWS should
say Administrator: Command Prompt.
Copying and pasting into the Command Prompt is non-standard. Select and copy
the text from the web page. Switch back to the prompt and press Alt+Space,
followed by E for the Edit menu, and then P to paste.
