Dear Val, I just read the news abut Doug; I am very sorry for your loss; I
can imagine how you feel now, but I'm glad he passed away peacefully in
his sleep; Love, Cindy (aka Grandma Cindy in case you forgot; we've
known each other for a lot of years shared a lot of losses, and
difficulties; and some good moments of books being accepted; stay well
and busy; at least you have the solace of religion and faith; love, Cindy

Last night at about 9 PM, my beloved husband, Doug, passed away. It
happened without notice; he was not sick and I was out grocery shopping. I
am bereft. I cannot imagine my life without him, but I am grateful for 24
years of marriage and almost two more before that. Doug was an amazing man
and a great blessing as a Bookshare work partner. Please forgive me if I
do not reply as there are many people to notify and arrangements to make.
Please keep me in your prayers as I enter this new chapter of my life,
alone. It's been over 35 years since I lived alone. Even our two sweet
dogs can tell everything is different.
Valerie
