Both the Bookshare team and I are so saddened to hear of your loss. Doug was
such an amazing part of the Volunteer Community here and he will be much
missed. We are all sending well wishes to you in Mississippi and hope it helps
even the tiniest bit to know how well regarded and respected Doug was in this
community.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] A sad note
Last night at about 9 PM, my beloved husband, Doug, passed away. It happened
without notice; he was not sick and I was out grocery shopping. I am bereft. I
cannot imagine my life without him, but I am grateful for 24 years of marriage
and almost two more before that. Doug was an amazing man and a great blessing
as a Bookshare work partner. Please forgive me if I do not reply as there are
many people to notify and arrangements to make.
Please keep me in your prayers as I enter this new chapter of my life, alone.
It's been over 35 years since I lived alone. Even our two sweet dogs can tell
everything is different.
