Let's start putting together a plan here. Perhaps the corrections lists
can be given out with the instructions for the iterations. I will read up
more in the K1000 during my commute tomorrow morning. I have the manual in
my braillenote.
On a related corections topic we can put together a list of characters
which often are junk in a text and can lead more easily to finding those
large blocks of junk characters left over from maps.
I know sometimes these characters appear in a book as legitimate
characters. Again you use the find feature and use these as indicators to
lead you to big blocks of junk.
Some of my favorites are > < | { } * ^ }
and combinations of them which hardly ever appear in legitimate text such
as ^}
Knowing about these lets you speed up the process of checking for
maps. Checking for maps and so on is made even easier when the book has a
list of illustrations accompanied by page numbers.
